Minutes

 

Members Present: Fr. Michael Forge, Jerry Jennings, Maxine Koller, Cindy Maris, Clint Rain, Dean Whiteside and Paul Willy

 

The meeting opened with a reading and a prayer by Fr. Michael at 7:00 p.m., January 28, 2008.

 

Introduced new members of the Finance Council.  Dean Whiteside begins a second three-year term and Paul Willy begins his first three-year term.

 

The minutes of the December 2007 meeting were read and accepted.  The financial reports for December were reviewed.

 

Security camera project should be completed within two weeks.

 

Parishioner may wish to move the White House (Morris St.) without cost to the Church. 

 

No change to our CCA campaign status.

 

Confidential Employee discussion

 

The Building Fund account has a balance of $68,424.32.  The loan balance for the Center is $77,807.87.  The payoff amount is $78,458.54 by February 8, 2008.  Proposal was made to pay the loan in full after the monthly Building Fund collection.  The Finance Council members unanimously agreed. 

 

The two remaining loans (Francis St. & Morris St. properties) were discussed regarding accelerated payments to reduce the Parish debt. 

 

Reviewed and discussed suggestions from the Parish Hall Coordinator for the ongoing upkeep of the Parish Hall.  Fr. Michael will review items with responsible staff members.

 

Suggestion to purchase gas vouchers for each deacon was not approved at this time.

 

The next meeting is scheduled on February 25, 2008, at 7:00 p.m.
