Members Present: Fr. Michael Forge, Jerry Jennings, Maxine Koller, Cindy Maris, Clint Rain, and Dean Whiteside
The meeting opened with a reading and a prayer by Fr. Michael at 7:15 p.m., May 22, 2007.
The minutes of the April 2007 meeting were read and accepted. The financial reports were reviewed. The Council discussed amount of additional principal payment to be made on the loan for the Parish Center. The schedule and amount of the additional principal payments will be discussed further at the June meeting.
The courtyard repair was delayed due to arrival of the tile, which will be completed in July.
The closing on the White House (604 Morris St.) is scheduled for May 30. Preliminary paperwork has been received from the Diocese regarding the loan from Catholic Life Insurance.

Three of four bids were received regarding security cameras ranging from $25,000 to $55,000. Father Michael will prepare a grant request to the Catholic Foundation upon receipt and review of all bids.
The Parish Festival netted about $14,500. Additional income and expenses were recently received and a final total will be available soon. The Parish Festival Committee recommends purchasing a commercial stove for the Parish Hall (approx. $4,000), replace the carpet in the Church (approx. $2,000), and enhance the sound system in the Parish Hall (undetermined cost at this time).
The FY ’08 budget was discussed in detail. The final budget will be reviewed at the June meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled on June 25, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.
