Old Business
a.
Parish Survey. Presentation by
Dan Macy of Macy Research Associates.
Dan presented compiled results and recommendations from the survey. Council discussed results with Mr.
Macy. Council will consider priority
recommendations for next meeting. Thank
you to Dan and Sara Macy for their hard work and service to the parish. They did a wonderful job.
b.
Chair Cleaning report. Update by
Leslie Voorhies. Chairs are clean. Touch ups will be done after Easter if
necessary. Fr. Forge had some concern
with the Scotchgaurd protection. Leslie
recommended that if additional protection was needed, to have it done
professionally. It would be more cost
effective. There will always be an
issue with stain absorption since the chairs have a flat seat if spills are not
addressed immediately.
c.
White House status. Fr. Forge. Still waiting
on approval. Paperwork has been turned
into to the diocesan CFO. The
transition of bishops may slow process.
Debt reduction is priority.
d.
Parish Festival Update. Fr.
Forge. Committee met on March 5th. New this year-possible Texas Hold’em
tournament.
e.
Debt Retirement Campaign. Good response. $3000.00
from first month second collection.
f.
Baby changing tables. Leslie will contact Sidney about specs in the church bathroom.
IV.
New Business
a.
Balance Sheet. Council reviewed
current balance sheet. No significant
changes.
b.
Church Courtyard. Myrna will
obtain bids for tile replacement.
c.
Parish Security System. Fr. Forge. Parishioner
Scott McDonnold will be surveying parish grounds tomorrow for the installation
of a camera surveillance system. Parish
will obtain 2 bids.
V.
Misc.
a.
Suggestion box. Karen Mathers is
working on a church shaped suggestion/ comment box for the church foyer.
