Parish Council Meeting

I.                     Opening Prayer- Fr. Forge

III.                 Old Business

a.       Courtyard Tile.  Update by Myrna.  Estimate for courtyard $3000.00 ($2983.00).  Council reviewed color swatches and preferred Red Blaze to Blaze Flash because of accent coloration on Blaze Flash.  Myrna will schedule installation for May.

b.       Security System.  No bids yet.  Plan for October installation.

c.        White House status.  Fr. Forge.  Seller and Fr. Forge have signed contract.  It has been approved by the bishop and sent to Catholic Life.

d.       Parish Festival Update.  Fr. Forge.  Last Meeting was April 23^rd.  Council did not discuss the festival since a majority of the members are on the Festival Committee.

e.        Baby Changing Tables.  Update by Leslie.  Unable to reach Sydney.  Will take measurements to see if restroom meets requirements for installation.  Contact Sydney for installation.

f.         Debt Retirement Campaign.  Second Collection for April was $2900.

IV.                New Business

a.       Balance Sheet.  Council reviewed current balance sheet.  Building Fund CD will be maturing in June.  Finance Council will make Annual lump payment.  Net Income 68,000 (801 N. Frances +$412 .31).  $10000 donation made in honor of RCIA Catechists. 

b.       RCIA Catechist Tribute.  Donation will fund a stained glass window depicting the Sacraments of Initiation will be installed in the foyer behind the Jesus statue.  No project completion date as of yet.

c.        Parish Survey Prioritizing.  Fr. Forge.  Council discussed and ranked Survey results.   1.  Silence before and during Mass.  Double doors will remained closed before Mass and between Masses.  Begin Call to Worship in two weeks.  Initial notice in the bulletin and announcement before Masses by Fr. Michael.  Future announcements may be done by deacon or lector.   2.  Usher Training.  3.  Cry Room.  Use foyer for now.

V.                  Misc.

a.       Trim trees.  Pear trees in parking lot are damaging vehicles.
