Old Business
a.
Courtyard Tile. Project
complete. There was a $200.00 discount
from estimate. Thanks to Myrna.
b.
Security System. Update by Fr.
Forge. Fr. Forge has submitted a grant
request to the Catholic Foundation for $30,000 to pay for the installation of
the security cameras. The Foundation
will send a representative to the parish for evaluation and a decision should
be made by October (when the grants are awarded.) There was a question as to why George Lawshe was not contacted for a bid.
c.
Stained Glass Window. Update by Fr. Forge. Fr. Forge talked to the artist in June. The window is currently in the design stage.
d.
White House status. Update by Fr.
Forge. The parish closed on the house in
June and is currently waiting on the family to move out, hopefully by the end
of the week.

New Business
a.
Balance Sheet. Not

b.
2007 Parish Picnic Proposal.
Update by Leslie. The Biggie
family is unable to host the parish picnic this year. The Picnic Committee suggested having a
parish clean-up day followed by a cookout at the 801
c.
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP). Fr. Forge requested that the Council consider
this opportunity for the parish and spend some time thinking about whether the
parish could benefit from the program at this time.
d.
Parish Survey Prioritizing.
Council has addressed the immediate recommendations from the
survey. Mass Ministry training update is
this month. Changes will be made to the
Call to Worship so that it remains effective.
e.
Suggestion Box Items. Council reviewed the items in
Suggestion Box and made recommendations.
The information will be available on the church website.
V.
Misc.
a.
Fr. Forge will continue to celebrate Mass for the Dallas Cowboys on
Saturday evenings prior to home games following the 5:00PM Mass.
b.
Fr. Forge’s dad sustained a leg injury and will be recuperating at the
Rectory.
