5.  White house on Morris St. update:  Bidding for demolition is still in progress.  A citation was received for the property being messy.  It has been cleaned up.

6.  Festival:  May 18 date set.  Committee chairs now in place.  The weekend of Feb 9/10 is set aside to present the needs to the parish (including donations of time, talents, and items of all sorts) in survey form.

9.  Eagle Scout Project:  The Eagle Scout is fundraising to pay for materials needed for the sand volleyball court at the Frances St. house.

10.  Balance sheet reviewed.

16.  Bowl of Ashes for Lenten decoration:  Suggestion as seen at another church.

17.  Funerals:  A few council members mentioned that notification of deaths in the parish by E-mail is not working.  After discussion, it was concluded that it is working, but that the E-mail is only used for funerals that are held at St. John’s, thus it is really a funeral notice rather than a death notice.

18.  Next Meeting will be February 18, 2008 at 7:00pm.

19.    Meeting ended with an Our Father.
