Parish Council Meeting
Members Present: Fr. Forge, Jack Harvey, Leslie Voorhies, Myrna Wharton, Liz Wigzell, Ray Hopson, Melody Zimmer, Pam Driver, Alma Salinas, and Mary Pat Samuels
Members Absent: Luisa Lopez, Rudy Lopez
1. Fr. Forge opened with a prayer.
2. Minutes presented by Leslie.
3. Introduced new members: Melody Zimmer, Pam Driver, Alma Salinas, and Mary Pat Samuels
4. Security System update: Grant was received so our cost will be approximately $4000. The estimated time to install is 4-5 working days and it will probably be in by the end of this year. Leslie mentioned that some members of the parish would like to know its purpose.
5. Stained glass window update: No new information to report.

7. Clean up/Cook out day: Day was successful with an estimated 80 people of all ages helping and meeting each other. Leslie had someone in charge of each building to coordinate.
8. Ministry Fair Day: Date to be in August. Booths will be set up for each group.
9. Balance sheet reviewed.

Appreciation Dinner: Dec. 14,
11. Festival 2008: Meeting is Dec 3 and tentative date is May 18.

14. Senior Citizens: Liz mentioned that $200 from Project Quarters fundraiser will be awarded to Susan Warner for Confirmation Retreat at the December meeting.
