Parish Council Minutes
June 16, 2008
Present: Fr.
Michael, Msgr. Duffy, Jack, Myrna, Pamela, Melody
I.
Father led the
opening Prayer
II. Minutes were read from the previous
meeting.
III.
Old Business
A.
The stained Glass Window was installed and blessed on May 25 weekend.
B. Eagle Scout project was completed. Volleyball poles were cemented and 6 loads of
sand were
brought in.
C. Vacant Lot/fencing: No bids had been solicited.
D. There is no
Girl Scout project (lining the parking lot).
E. Finance
Council questioned Pamela regarding the Proposed Youth Program. The program is to begin in January for a 6
month trial.
“Life Night” Youth Program every other Sun. eve from 7-9PM.
There will also
be a Retreat. The Proposed budget was
$4000.00

New Business
A.
Msgr. Glenn Duff
B.
Resident Priest is
Father Peter Chinnappan who is leaving after next
year when he completes his Chancery education program and will return to
V.

VI Miscellaneous
A.
Festival was very
successful raising $25,000 ( $23,700.00 clear
profit). Date set for next year is May
19, 2009.
